Our Facilities Management department is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer. Our Facilities Management mission is to provide a consistent high level of ongoing support services to the Bank, its customers, visitors, the community and other Districts in the Federal Reserve System within established budget constraints. This position offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and professional growth. You'll work independently while being part of a collaborative team, handle diverse systems that keep you engaged, and develop expertise across multiple critical building disciplines. Requirements

  • 0-2 years of maintenance engineering experience plus vocational or trade school experience or 4 years of engineering experience.
  • Emphasis in heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical or related field.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Refrigeration license and recent experience on high-pressure steam and fittings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, program, and commission sophisticated control sequences that optimize building performance.
  • Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain climate control systems that keep environments comfortable and energy-efficient.
  • Service fire sprinkler suppression and smoke control systems that protect lives.
  • Work with commercial kitchen equipment, water leak detection systems, and automated material handling systems.
  • Fine-tune environmental conditions to balance occupant comfort, building standards, and energy management objectives.
  • Leverage cutting-edge tools and software for plumbing, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic repairs.
  • Document your work by updating plans and as-built drawings.
  • Manage procurement of supplies and materials.
