About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for producing new products, material, applications, process ideas, approaches, insights, and designs. This role involves creating innovative and profitable products and processes that meet and anticipate customer needs, and planning activities and projects in alignment with the site or Division's strategic goals. The engineer will conduct feasibility studies to validate concepts and construct specifications to offer recommendations for improvement opportunities. A strong financial awareness regarding product and process design, and vendor selection, is also required. The role involves analyzing data inputs to identify patterns and relationships to determine appropriate engineering methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in industrial maintenance or automation systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and automation.
  • Proficiency in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AC drives.
  • Experience with servo motors and controllers, including setup and calibration.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems, including circuit design and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of three-phase power systems, including distribution and load balancing.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and actuators.
  • Expertise in pneumatic systems, including air compressors, cylinders, and control valves.
  • Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLCs.
  • Experience with HMI design and integration for machine control and monitoring.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.
  • Drives and supports innovative ideas, while taking informed risks to seek and develop new or improved solutions.
  • Proactively identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Explores new ways and pursues new opportunities.
