Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and inspection of various hotel systems and equipment. This includes plumbing, the physical structure of the building, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen, and laundry equipment. The role requires adherence to blueprints, manuals, and building codes, utilizing a range of hand and power tools, as well as specialized carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tools. A key responsibility involves installing electrical equipment and performing repairs or replacements of wiring and fixtures, as well as replacing light bulbs throughout the building.
Requirements
- Maintenance and/or technical background
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience
Responsibilities
- Repairs, maintains and inspects plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes, using hand and power tools, carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tools
- Installs electrical equipment and repairs or replaces wiring and fixtures
- Replaces light bulbs throughout the building
