About The Position

Maintenance employees perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties to keep parking facilities bright and clean. The role also includes snow removal, landscaping, and assisting with power washing. Employees work outdoors up to 90% of the time and may work in all types of weather, including extreme cold, heat, and high winds. The position involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, extensive walking and standing, stair climbing, and repetitive physical movements. Employees regularly use cleaning solvents and may handle hazardous substances for graffiti removal, cleaning, painting, and other applications.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to perform repetitive hand use, grasp and hold tools, and undertake extensive walking, standing, bending, reaching, crouching, twisting, and stair climbing.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme cold, heat, and high winds for extended periods.
Ability to work regularly with cleaning solvents and hazardous substances used for graffiti removal, cleaning, painting, and other applications.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and trucks and maintain a clean driving record meeting company policy.

Responsibilities

Sweep garages and lots, including curbs, stairs, walkways, elevators and elevator tracks, expansion joints, and drive lanes.
Wipe down stair handrails with company-approved cleaning supplies.
Clean windows in parking structures using company-approved cleaning supplies.
Clean and polish trash cans using company-approved supplies.
Empty trash cans and install new can liners.
Mop elevators, elevator landings, and other areas as needed using company-approved supplies and PPE.
Safely operate company vehicles and trucks while maintaining a clean driving record that meets company policy.
Perform regular structure and lot tours.
Shovel snow and ice as required.
Remove trash and debris from drive lanes, curbs, walkways, stairs, and other applicable operational areas as needed.
Clean 911 boxes, signage, and window ledges using company-approved supplies.
Remove cobwebs from stairwell corners and around light fixtures.
Clean offices, including emptying trash, vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows.
Clean restrooms, including washing sinks and toilets, mopping floors, and replenishing paper and sanitary products as needed.
Clean break rooms.
Remove graffiti as needed and perform paint touch-ups.
Perform car counts at structures and open lots.
Perform snow removal, including shoveling, scraping, and applying mag salt as needed.
Assist with power washing as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
