About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support industrial production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires strong diagnostic capability and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports the automated assembly operations for the F-35 program onsite at a leading aerospace manufacturing facility in Palmdale, CA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of maintenance electrician experience in an industrial setting
  • Electrical Journeyman certification required
  • Must be able to pass an electrical journeyman test
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Must possess basic hand tools
  • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs (assistance encouraged for heavier loads)
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if needed
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Completion of online safety training prior to start

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot all plant electrical systems including sources, feeders, and branch circuits
  • Safely isolate systems and perform repairs without negatively impacting production
  • Diagnose, repair, and design motor control circuits and plant control systems
  • Work with three-phase power systems ranging from 110V to 480V
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and manufacturer manuals
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, and materials used
  • Order and requisition parts as needed
  • Support and assist mechanics with troubleshooting and repairs
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and man lifts
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment
  • Repair and maintain industrial production and processing equipment
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions using testing devices such as voltmeters
  • Analyze machine errors and operator feedback to identify issues
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Reassemble equipment following repairs or inspections
  • Demonstrate proper equipment operation to machine operators
