About The Position

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing welding machines and hand tools. This role involves following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, disconnecting and connecting high voltage equipment (such as welding machines and shore power for vessels under construction), and working in confined spaces. The position also includes mechanical and electrical repair, overhaul of large and small equipment, building electrical repairs and upgrades, facility power station inspections, calibrating welding machines, maintaining and repairing company equipment, and maintaining reports for all tasks performed. The role requires the ability to ascend and work at heights of up to 40 feet.

Requirements

Experience maintaining and repairing welding machines.
Experience with hand tools.
Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
Experience disconnecting and connecting high voltage equipment.
Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
Mechanical and electrical repair skills.
Experience with overhaul of large and small equipment.
Experience with building electrical repairs and upgrades.
Experience with facility power station inspections.
Experience calibrating welding machines.
Ability to maintain and repair company equipment.
Ability to maintain reports.
Ability to ascend and work at heights of up to 40 feet.
