About The Position

As a Maintenance Electrician you will provide electrical installation, upgrade and maintenance throughout facility. Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of progressively more responsible experience
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician certification required.
  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all electrical equipment in the building.
  • Keep all equipment in safe electrical operating condition.
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance.
  • Install wiring for new equipment as required.
  • Perform electrical safety inspections on all equipment.
  • Schedule repair work on equipment based on production needs.
  • Troubleshoot complicated electrical problems including PLCs, variable frequency drives, programmable controls, servo controls, etc.
  • Create new or change existing PLC programs for new control upgrades and improvements.
  • Build new control panels for changes or improvements made to equipment.
  • Make out purchase requisitions for repair parts and replacement stock items.
  • Be able to recognize process problems and help find solutions for them.
  • Look for opportunities to improve equipment efficiency or process improvements.
  • Maintain all records of repairs made to equipment.
  • Update any electrical, hydraulic of pneumatic changes made to equipment on the control drawings.
  • Work independently without supervision.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
