As a Maintenance Dispatcher, your job duties will include, but may not be limited to: Analyze, modify, assign, and schedule maintenance tasks and activities. Dispatch personnel to address various facilities, controls, and maintenance work orders. Procure quotes and order tools and components. Maintain maintenance records related to reactive line calls, preventative maintenance, and defective equipment. Understand and maintain maintenance department metrics. Follow standard operating procedures and area specific work instructions. Provide information to supervisors and managers about processes within assigned area. Maintain a safe and clean workstation. Perform any other assigned duties. This is a unique role that will require work hours that vary from a typical schedule. There will be times when the successful candidate will be required to support activities and installations during weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification.
  • Familiarity with mechanical products and components and the utilization of hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a dispatcher or experience doing similar work.
  • Prior experience using dispatch software and tracking systems (i.e. Maintenance 5K).
  • Previous experience reading work orders and/or performing work orders.
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting part prints, schematics, and/or blueprints.
  • Experience using software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work.
