There are 4 Maintenance Support Specialist positions available – 1 HVAC Technician, 1 Door Technician, 1 CNC Technician and 1 PLC Technician. See job duties and requirements for each below. As one of the Maintenance Support Specialists, your job duties will include, but may not be limited to: HVAC Tech (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) Troubleshoot multizone heating, cooling and industrial refrigeration systems. System maintenance - maintain, test and balance air and water treatment systems Maintain spare parts and filters Perform preventative maintenance Door Tech Repair loading dock equipment Preventative maintenance on dock levelers and commercial roll-up doors Conduct inspections on dock levelers and commercial doors Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and sensors CNC Tech (Computer Numerical Control) Maintenance associate with fabrications facility, including Lincoln welders, Fanuc robots, CM hoists, etc. ATC arm rebuild and realignment Troubleshoot and diagnose Mazak failures utilizing electrical and mechanical blueprints Part ordering PLC Tech (Programmable Logic Control) Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults Read, write and modify laddered logic Interpret complex electrical prints, wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics This is a unique role that will require work hours that vary from a typical schedule. There will be times when the successful candidate will be required to support activities and installations during weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.

Requirements

  • Understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to HVAC equipment.
  • Experience working with hydraulic and mechanical door systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Mazak machining centers (FJV and Horizontal).
  • Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.

  • Ability to use blueprints to order parts for equipment.
  • Ability to work with a team to make repairs and adjustments or lead repairs as necessary.
  • Ability to make recommendations on repairs, PMs and spare parts lists.
  • Working knowledge of HMI screens on multiple versions of Mazak equipment.
  • Above average working knowledge of all industrial maintenance aspects.
  • Prior work experience in a heavy equipment production facility or comparable automatic production facility.
  • Familiarity with PM principles as well as working knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • Experience maintaining and modifying PLC programs.
  • Familiarity with PLC programs using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron or Schneider Electric.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces).
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining industrial networks including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profinet and Modbus.
