About The Position

Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Maintenance Director to join their growing team. Cardinal View Senior Living recently opened in fall of 2021 and is easily accessible, right off the Beltline in Middleton, WI. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their gorgeous 104-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Cardinal View was named to honor the Middleton Area High School Cardinals and is proud to be locally owned! Shifts: Full-time, Manager on Duty rotation and on call for building. Wage: $28-33/Hr. The Maintenance Director becomes family and impacts the lives of residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or manager, preferably in property management.
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent, technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Experience in health care is preferred (3-5 years)

Responsibilities

Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
Coordinates audits and inspections for safety and facilities readiness
Manages staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
