About The Position

Williamsburg Retirement is hiring a Maintenance Director to keep our senior living community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on, onsite role that also requires planning, coordination, and consistent follow-through so work is completed correctly and on time.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades
• Working knowledge of plumbing (toilets, shut-off valves) and basic electrical (fixtures, outlets)
• Strong drywall repair, high-quality painting, and carpentry/trim skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects with clear organization and accountability

Responsibilities

• Completing and overseeing repairs and upkeep across apartments and common areas
• Handling plumbing, basic electrical, drywall, painting, trim/carpentry, and carpet cleaning
• Planning and managing improvement projects (timelines, materials, vendors, and updates to leadership)
• Supervising a full-time maintenance team member
• Prioritizing work effectively
