About The Position

Watermark Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and integrity of community building systems, safety standards, emergency systems, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The role calls for a strategic planner and leader who can supervise and educate staff while staying ahead of repairs, preventative maintenance, capital replacements, expenses, and projects. The director also oversees the maintenance associate and housekeeping department, including community cleanliness. An every-other-weekend commitment is required.

Requirements

In-depth technical understanding of repairs and preventative maintenance involving heating systems, plumbing, environmental systems, and general construction.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritize demands, lead a team, and make decisions.
Strong sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and online systems.
Fiscal responsibility.
Commitment to work every other weekend.
