Maintenance Director
About The Position
Dove Healthcare is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Director to keep our Eau Claire West campus running safely, smoothly, and efficiently! This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are exactly alike. On call rotation is required for this role. You'll be responsible for keeping the facility in top shape through preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements, troubleshooting and performing professional-level maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general construction, handling painting, repairs, and upkeep both inside and outside the facility, conducting routine tests, inspections, and safety checks on facility systems, and maintaining and updating fire, disaster, and emergency preparedness plans. Helping ensure our building remains safe, comfortable, functional, and ready for whatever the day brings.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent, and a one-year technical diploma, or 5 years of related experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Thorough knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and allied machinery, as well as the various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal codes and ordinances and safety regulations
- Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair or new construction
- Knowledge of record keeping and cost estimating
Responsibilities
