Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• A hands-on leader who is approachable, dependable, and willing to jump in
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside regular working hours
• Availability to participate in the Manager on Duty rotation approximately every 7th weekend

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry team members while ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, systems, and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and appliances.
• Oversee inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and compliance with applicable safety and building requirements.
• Make sure resident suites are clean, safe, and ready for new residents and help coordinate smooth transitions.
• Work with contractors and vendors while responsibly managing maintenance expenses and priorities.
• Address maintenance requests and urgent needs quickly while helping create a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
