About The Position

Supervises repair and maintenance of buildings and plant equipment and manufacturing equipment; schedules preventative and predictive maintenance; assists in the development of safety programs. This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.

Requirements

Requires one to two years of college or its equivalent.
Requires five to eight years of experience in technical disciplines.
Competent knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance programs.
Requires good oral and written communication skills and good computer skills.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Supervises repairs to facilities, production equipment, and machinery to minimize downtime, ensure timely completion of repairs, and maintain safe working conditions.
Schedules planned maintenance activities, including preventative and predictive maintenance, major equipment overhauls, and facility and site improvements to reduce equipment failure and downtime.
Directs computerized maintenance systems to ensure data acquisition and equipment histories are accurate and complete.
Supervises, trains, and develops department staff to enhance the quantity and quality of employee work.
Assists in the development of a comprehensive safety program and maintains safety work order records to ensure a safe working environment.
Recommends, processes, and approves equipment improvements and supervises installation of engineering controls and equipment updates.
Assists in developing a comprehensive departmental budget to ensure the department stays within budgetary guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
