About The Position

We’re seeking a proactive and organized Maintenance Coordinator to lead the coordination and execution of maintenance activities at our plant. This role plays a key part in ensuring that equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably through structured planning, team leadership, and performance monitoring. You’ll collaborate closely with maintenance and operational teams to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in heavy industrial/heavy manufacturing
• Wearing protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols
• Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently), climbing, walking, pushing, pulling, standing, and operating tools and equipment in physically intense settings.
• Must be physically able to perform all essential job functions, including the ability to communicate verbally using a phone and radio, to hear verbal commands and audible alarms in order to safely operate around large mobile equipment and automatic conveyor belt systems.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam to include back x-ray, vision test, hearing test, functional capability evaluation, respiratory fit test and drug / alcohol screen.
• Applicants may be subject to a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safety standards in accordance with Company, OSHA, and MSHA regulations.
• Receive daily work programs and assign tasks to appropriate team members to ensure maintenance objectives are met.
• Motivate and guide the maintenance team while resolving issues and ensuring adherence to plant policies and procedures.
• Establish performance goals, oversee work quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise the implementation of maintenance plans, monitor equipment conditions, and minimize downtime during repairs.
• Report maintenance activities, support planning meetings, and document hazards and safety observations.
• Assist the maintenance planner and provide emergency support to avoid equipment interruptions.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
