This position involves coordinating the purchasing and receiving of spare parts, creating and maintaining repair and inspection reports, and generating tracking/closing of work orders. The role also includes procurement of manufacturing parts and supplies, and daily storeroom activities such as parts ordering, expediting, receiving, inspecting, cataloging, stocking, issuing, and inventory control. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for computerized storeroom management, comparing inventories to record management systems, and investigating new sources of supply while complying with environmental regulations. Meeting established budgets and inventory levels, stocking and issuing materials, and planning/implementing best practices in stores and purchasing are also key aspects of the job.
