Requirements

An Associate degree or 2-year vocational certificate/license is required.
A minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in facilities management.
In lieu of the education requirement, a minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in facilities management is required.
Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and the development of maintenance procedures.
Thorough knowledge of general maintenance processes.
Skill set includes basic proficiencies in plumbing, HVAC/R, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Must exhibit sound judgement, tact, and courtesy.
Excellent rapport with staff members.
Demonstrated proficiency using a CMMS to query, develop reports, and manage asset information.
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the Asset Life Cycle for facilities equipment and systems, including sourcing, utilization tracking, CMMS data management, and disposition of facilities assets.
Coordinate and monitor the activities of Mayo Facilities staff, contractors, and subcontractors for the performance of warranty work on facilities equipment.
Develop and implement the schedule of planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance for equipment, systems, tools, and buildings.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of additions, deletions, relocation, and disposition of facilities assets.
Work collaboratively with Facilities Operations, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering Specialist and Safety to support facility operations.
Work cooperatively with Allied Health staff.
Develop strong relationships with other internal departments.
