This role is crucial for supporting facility operations by managing the Asset Life Cycle for facilities equipment and systems, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • An Associate degree or 2-year vocational certificate/license is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in facilities management.
  • In lieu of the education requirement, a minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in facilities management is required.
  • Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and the development of maintenance procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of general maintenance processes.
  • Skill set includes basic proficiencies in plumbing, HVAC/R, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Must exhibit sound judgement, tact, and courtesy.
  • Excellent rapport with staff members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a CMMS to query, develop reports, and manage asset information.
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Asset Life Cycle for facilities equipment and systems, including sourcing, utilization tracking, CMMS data management, and disposition of facilities assets.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of Mayo Facilities staff, contractors, and subcontractors for the performance of warranty work on facilities equipment.
  • Develop and implement the schedule of planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance for equipment, systems, tools, and buildings.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of additions, deletions, relocation, and disposition of facilities assets.
  • Work collaboratively with Facilities Operations, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering Specialist and Safety to support facility operations.
  • Work cooperatively with Allied Health staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with other internal departments.
