Maintenance Associate - Danville
About The Position
Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Associate to join its US Rolled Products Team and Maintenance Department at its Danville, Illinois operations, which specializes in heat treating and finishing aluminum auto body sheet. The role is for a safety-conscious, team-oriented person with a maintenance or electrical background who will optimize performance and maintain furnaces, rolling equipment, and related machinery at the facility. Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting is needed. Arconic provides a safe, clean work environment and a competitive pay and benefits package. Starting pay is $27.73 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Successfully complete an aptitude test.
- Hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship or possess equivalent experience.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Nice To Haves
- Journey-level proficiency through training and extensive experience in industrial plants.
