The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Director (MD) in maintaining and operating the physical aspects of the Property. This role involves ensuring the community is always covered in the event of an emergency, participating in preventative and routine maintenance programs, and ensuring the safe operation of all mechanical equipment through routine physical inspections. The assistant will also help maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, manage the online work order system, and delegate work orders. Adherence to OSHA and Company guidelines, including lock-down, tag-out procedures, and safe working practices, is crucial. Other duties may be assigned as per the full job description.
