The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Director (MD) in maintaining and operating the physical aspects of the Property. This role involves ensuring the community is covered in emergencies, participating in preventative and routine maintenance programs, and maintaining mechanical equipment, building structures, and grounds. The assistant will also help ensure the safe operation of mechanical equipment through inspections, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and assist with an online work order system. Adherence to OSHA and Company guidelines, including lock-down/tag-out procedures and safe working practices, is required. Other duties may be assigned as per the full job description.
