About The Position

This is a full-time Maintenance position at Best Western Coral Hills. The role involves performing minor fixes, preventative maintenance, installing and maintaining equipment, inspecting and troubleshooting systems, checking safety functionality, and handling responsibilities such as trash, groundskeeping, stocking supplies, and pool maintenance. The position also requires collaboration with other professionals during renovations and reporting to the General Manager or facilities maintenance manager.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Ability to stand, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push/pull and lift/carry items frequently throughout the workday
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Valid drivers license

Responsibilities

Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps in walls etc.
Preventative Maintenance: snaking drains, touch up paint, staining furniture, etc.
Installing and maintaining equipment & fixtures.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Responsible for trash, groundskeeping, stocking supplies, pool maintenance, etc
Collaborate with other professionals during renovations
Report to General Manager or facilities maintenance manager
