Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 2 year(s) prior experience in a similar maintenance position
- 21 years of age or older
- Physical ability to perform manual work
Nice To Haves
- Advanced training in electrical, mechanical, and technical building systems and equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with all building maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and compliance with safety codes
- Support housekeeping and maintenance staff while monitoring vendor contracts, inspections, and daily work orders
- Maintain and monitor critical systems such as HVAC, emergency systems, elevators, and landscaping
- Respond to after-hours emergencies, and contribute to long-term facility improvement and renovation planning
- Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
