About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant supports the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds to help provide a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff, and the public. The role calls for stamina, strength, and endurance, along with a supportive presence for residents and the ability to work collaboratively toward excellent resident care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide maintenance services.
• Ability to work toward a common team goal.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Prior maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
