About The Position
The Facilities Maintenance Assistant helps maintain the safety and upkeep of agency facilities and vehicles and distributes supplies and equipment. The role assists with the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. The primary work location is Benevilla Main Campus in Surprise, Arizona. The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The training schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Requirements
- At least two years of maintenance work experience, including a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, construction, and related maintenance tasks.
- Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
- Successfully pass a background check and pre-hire and post-hire random drug panels and non-DOT physical assessments.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and perform work indoors and outdoors.
