About The Position

CarDon & Associates is an Indiana-based, family-owned health care organization providing senior living and lifestyle support services, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and rehabilitation. The Maintenance Assistant helps maintain a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for residents and staff by carrying out a standardized preventive maintenance program. The role supports the optimum performance and appearance of buildings, grounds, systems, and equipment. The position is responsible to the Administrator or Maintenance Director.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance experience.
• Compassionate, engaged personality and dedication to exceptional outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for residents and staff.
• Carry out a standardized preventive maintenance program.
• Help ensure the optimum performance and appearance of buildings, grounds, systems, and equipment.
