About The Position

Ignite Medical Resort St. Peters is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant. This role is critical in maintaining the overall operating condition and pristine appearance of the facility, both inside and out. We are a state-of-the-art rehabilitation resort focused on providing a superior rapid rehabilitation experience through uncompromising luxury, unique amenities, and high-quality care.

Requirements

Prior experience in a skilled nursing/rehab facility required.
Must be a service-oriented, customer-centered individual with a commitment to the overall goals for success.
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
Must have, as a minimum, experience in a maintenance/plant related position.
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
Must be licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must have a clean background check.
Must submit to a drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience in nursing home maintenance assistant/laundry/housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

Overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
Ensuring the facility is pristine in appearance both inside and out.
