About The Position
We are seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to assist in maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment in Midwest City. The apprentice will work closely with the experienced maintenance team to learn and develop skills in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. The role aims to help ensure that facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained. It also involves using attention to detail and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment and system issues, while communicating and collaborating with the maintenance team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Literacy skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a maintenance or construction-related field.
- Certification in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems.
- Experience with welding or fabrication.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Bilingual ability is a plus.
