About The Position
Natco is seeking a Maintenance and Grounds Assistant to join our Facilities team at our West Warwick, RI corporate headquarters. This full-time, hands-on role supports the upkeep of our buildings and grounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Ability to read, write and speak English required
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Willingness to successfully complete a background check, employment verification, and drug screening required
Nice To Haves
- Maintenance and facility experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical principles is a plus
- A valid driver’s license in good standing is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with performing general building and equipment repairs such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical work
- Perform grounds maintenance, including seasonal and snow removal
- Support daily cleaning and facility upkeep
- Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests, including occasional last-minute overtime as needed
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Director of Facilities
