About The Position

Responsible for coordinating the Company's preventive maintenance program and facility maintenance activities. This position ensures maintenance is planned, scheduled, documented, and completed on time to support equipment reliability, production needs, and a safe, well-maintained facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance, facilities, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with a CMMS or maintenance tracking system preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, HSE, and outside contractors.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
  • Experience managing a preventive maintenance program.
  • Experience coordinating contractors or facility maintenance.
  • Experience with PLEX or another CMMS.
  • Technical degree, certification, or maintenance-related training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment and facility systems.
  • Ensure PMs are completed on time and follow up on overdue PMs.
  • Create and maintain maintenance work orders and records in the CMMS.
  • Coordinate PM activities with Maintenance and Production.
  • Ensure necessary parts, materials, and outside services are available for scheduled work.
  • Track PM completion and identify recurring maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate day-to-day maintenance and repairs of the Company's buildings and facility systems.
  • Manage preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, compressed air, fire protection, doors, docks, roofs, and other building systems.
  • Coordinate facility repairs and respond to facility-related issues.
  • Schedule and manage outside contractors and service providers.
  • Coordinate required building inspections, testing, certifications, and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain facility maintenance records and documentation.
  • Monitor facility conditions and identify needed repairs or improvements.
  • Assist with building projects, renovations, equipment moves, and facility upgrades.
  • Coordinate snow removal, landscaping, pest control, waste services, and other facility-related vendors as needed.
  • Help monitor building utilities and identify opportunities to reduce energy and operating costs.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and functional work environment.
  • Work with HSE on facility safety concerns, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Support emergency facility repairs and coordinate appropriate contractors when needed.
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, HSE, Purchasing, and contractors.
  • Obtain quotes and coordinate scheduling for facility and maintenance services as needed.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve facility reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Maintain organized records of contractors, inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with Company safety and environmental requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
