About The Position

The Maintenance Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data. The role supports United Road’s Partnership pillar and is based on-site in Plymouth, Michigan. The analyst uses truck-based telematics and maintenance systems to identify trends and opportunities, ensure the quality and timeliness of maintenance data, and complete reporting and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Highly motivated.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with peers to correct deficiencies and improve processes.
• Ability to solve problems and exercise good judgment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in web-based programs, including TMT, OVISS, and OE software diagnostic tools.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Analyst experience with a medium or large corporation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Logistics or transportation experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced reporting to identify trends and opportunities from truck-based telematics systems.
• Audit maintenance personnel’s data entry to ensure quality, timeliness, and professional use of company systems.
• Execute advanced maintenance-software functions, including understanding system functions and interface files, reporting, and error correction.
• Conduct month-end reports and reconciliations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
