About The Position

The Maintainer is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of all CRI's facilities, ensuring that all environments are safe. This role involves traveling to various locations, purchasing supplies, and performing a variety of tasks such as painting, spackling, sanding, sheet rocking, replacing locks, fixing cabinets and doors, replacing screens and boards, moving furniture, and replacing light bulbs. The Maintainer must be able to conduct themselves professionally at all times with employees, supervisors, and consumers.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 70 – 75 pounds as determined by a physician.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid CT driver license and a good driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to various locations among CRI’s programs.
• Must be able to conduct oneself professionally at all times, with employees of CRI, supervisors and consumers.
