Maint/Production Coord
About The Position
This position is responsible for the procurement of MRO goods and services, including tracking and expediting. It involves facilitating various transactions in ERP and CMMs systems, assisting with and overseeing storeroom activities, and managing vendor/supplier/contractor relations. The role also includes coordinating vendor and service visits, participating in peer engagement programs, supporting coworkers, and performing tasks according to specific operating procedures and quality control processes. Adherence to all safety procedures and company policies, along with conducting business with integrity, is essential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Computer proficiency in MS applications, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with Various Scanning and Imaging applications
- Interpersonal skills including Ability to work at all levels of the organization, Emotional intelligence, and Problem Solving
- Attention to detail.
- Customer Service skills (Internal/External)
Nice To Haves
- Previous purchasing and/or MRO supply coordinating experience.
- Paint/Coatings/Chemical industry knowledge or experience.
- Preferred experience with ERP and CMMS systems
Responsibilities
- Procurement of MRO Goods and Services, including Tracking and Expediting
- Facilitating various transactions in the ERP and CMMs systems including Reporting, Purchasing, AP, Inventory, Asset Optics, Planning/Scheduling, and Document Reconciliation
- Assist with and oversee various storeroom activities including Stock Replenishment, Cycle counting, Shelf Stocking, Housekeeping, and Restructuring
- Vendor/Supplier/Contractor Relations including Maintaining relations, Seeking out new vendors, Expediting, and Initiating/Closing Claims
- Coordination of Vendor and Service Visits
- Participate in Peer engagement programs.
- Back up and support co-workers in their absence
- Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
