About The Position

The Maint Mechanic 1 performs preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery, troubleshoots mechanical issues, and implements effective solutions. The role uses tools and equipment safely and efficiently, collaborates with team members to support production goals, and maintains accurate records of work performed and parts used. The position operates primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding, and fabrication.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and procedures.
• Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
