About The Position

The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and supporting efficient restaurant operations. This role helps ensure prompt, courteous service while maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage dining reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure smooth guest flow.
  • Coordinate special requests, parties, and guest accommodations as needed.
  • Provide menus and communicate restaurant information to guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room areas, host stands, serving stations, and tables.
  • Monitor and replenish dining room supplies, including linens and service items.
  • Assist with beverage preparation and help expedite food orders when necessary.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
