The Host ensures all restaurant guests are greeted, made to feel welcome and seated in a friendly and courteous manner. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service by greeting all restaurant patrons immediately upon their arrival, inquiring as to the number of guests in the party, and maintaining wait lists while communicating wait times. The Host assigns guests to server stations equitably, escorts guests to their stations with menus, and seats them accordingly. This position controls the guest volume at the restaurant entrance, attends to guests' needs while waiting to be seated, and answers customer inquiries about the menu, restaurant, and Bass Pro Shops. Additionally, the Host answers phones, books reservations, performs opening and closing side work, assists with pre-bussing and table setup, and acknowledges guests upon departure. Maintaining restrooms throughout the shift and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.
