About The Position
McCarthy Hyundai is seeking an experienced Main Line Technician to join their growing Service Department. This is a great opportunity for a technician who wants to utilize their experience in a busy and fun working environment, with the potential to control their own pay. The dealership is experiencing high demand and is looking to expand its team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of technician experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
Nice To Haves
- Hyundai and Kia experience preferred.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
- Large import experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
