About The Position

McCarthy Chevrolet - Olathe is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their busy service department. This role offers excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement within the McCarthy Auto Group. The technician will be responsible for inspecting and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles, performing mechanical diagnosis and repairs, and managing computer and electrical diagnosis and repairs on various makes and models.

Requirements

• 3+ years tech experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
• Self-motivated, strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles.
• Process automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• Manage computer and electrical diagnosis, testing, and repairs on a wide variety of makes and models.
