About The Position

The Main Banker oversees the casino’s main bank and helps maintain financial integrity and smooth casino operations. The role delivers guest service while accurately processing guest and company funds alongside other cage personnel. It involves managing funds and transactions, maintaining required documentation, and complying with gaming regulations, laws, and company policies. The Main Banker also safeguards cage assets, maintains the bank balance, assists with training, responds to guest inquiries, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of cash-handling experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to handle high-volume and stressful situations.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of currency.
• Excellent guest-service communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Docs.
• Computer and typing skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses and/or certifications required by local gaming regulations.
• Ability to speak, read, and write frequently; stand, walk, bend, and stoop frequently; and push, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process currency exchanges, check cashing, markers, payouts, and other transactions, issuing receipts as required.
• Accurately enter markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system.
• Handle guest and company funds and associated paperwork in compliance with gaming regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Oversee cash intake in count room areas, including counting and verifying funds.
• Prepare and balance NRT machines and replenish them with currency and tickets.
• Perform cashiering duties and audit fill traffic documentation.
• Manage guest credit information, maintain the bank balance, safeguard cage assets, and process deposits.
• Assist with training, address guest inquiries, and provide promotional advice.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient casino operations.
