About The Position

The Main Banker I delivers exceptional guest service while performing casino cage transactions and managing cash control and disbursement for the cage, bank, and vault. The role assists with daily cage shift functions to help ensure guests have an enjoyable gaming experience. The position operates in a high-energy casino environment where smoking is allowed, with exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, loud noise, and visual distractions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
Ability to complete forms.
Ability to perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures, the IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
Knowledge of service areas including the front window, Marker bank, Chip bank, and main vault.
Good communication skills.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Ability to work various hours as needed, including weekends, nights, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stoop, bend, and squat.
Ability to understand and speak English.

Nice To Haves

One year of cashier or banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Service cashier and team-member exchanges throughout the shift.
Keep the cash drawer balanced and impressed.
Complete Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs.
Maintain accurate records in all aspects of the role.
Answer customer questions courteously and professionally.
Verify and document personal identification information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
Make exchanges with the Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
Cash out customers and provide correct change.
Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
Clean and wash chips.
Perform other duties as assigned.
