Smart Data Solutions, a leading provider of data management, claim routing and workflow solutions to health plans and TPAs, is looking for Mailroom Document Processor/Scanner Operators to join our team! This role involves ensuring Hi-Trust certification requirements are met, performing all tasks with attention to detail and in a timely manner, maintaining productivity standards, and assisting with data capture and data entry. The position requires the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time and involves document processing such as opening, sorting, batching, quality control, preparing, verifying, and counting documents for scanning. It also includes tasks like unfolding, flattening, taping, removing rubber bands, or un-stapling documents, fixing tears, making copies, and following proper sorting methods. The role requires identifying P.O. Box, client name, and patient name on documents, processing incoming mail based on customer instructions, and ensuring work aligns with customer service level agreements. Confidentiality of PHI and compliance with company policies are crucial. Scanner operating duties include scanning, archiving, quality control of documents, inputting data, feeding documents through a scanner, maintaining scanner logs, troubleshooting basic technical errors, operating and cleaning scanner machines, and verifying batches before committing them. Document processing may also be required when business needs arise.
