About The Position

Imaging Services – Consumer Operations Support is a compliance-focused team responsible for the digitization of written consumer correspondence received by TransUnion. The team manages a high volume of inbound consumer mail, supporting requests such as credit report disputes, credit report copies, and credit freezes. This is achieved through the accurate receipt, preparation, categorization, and scanning of documents into the appropriate processing workflows. As a team member, the Imaging Services Clerk is responsible for digitizing written Customer/Consumer correspondence. This includes receiving, prepping, categorizing and scanning all documents. Emphasis is on accuracy, attention to detail and knowledge of doc types and procedures for each.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work their schedule (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Mon-Fri).
  • Essential employee, 100% work from office.
  • Good organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Flexibility to perform multiple tasks in environment that changes daily based on incoming work.
  • Ability to maintain focus, flexibility, and consistently deliver high output.
  • You must be able to lift to 30 lbs. consistently throughout the workday.

  • Understanding of credit reporting laws.

Responsibilities

  • Open, prepare, sort, read, review, count, scan and batch incoming mail and all other necessary documents such as contracts, legal communications, law enforcement reports, or departmental requests.
  • Meet or exceed efficiency, production, and quality standards each month and ensure departmental procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with team members and management.
  • Share office equipment including scanners and workstations and ensure it is cleaned up after use before passing on to another team member.
  • Relay production concerns timely and effectively to supervisors.
  • Work on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Extreme confidentiality in all matters relating to the position.
  • Ability to timely escalate production issues.
