About The Position

This position will be responsible for sorting and posting of all incoming and outgoing 1st Class Mail, United Parcel Service packages, Federal Express packages, and providing inter-office mail services for the Resort. This position is also responsible for the metering of all outgoing mail and processing of monthly accounting reports, planning and preparation for large mail-outs, and custody and control of both guest and resort mail. This position is responsible for remaining updated on all ongoing procedural changes related to postal rate and policy changes.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with mail services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through cell phone, email, conference calls, texting tools
  • Ability to provide efficient, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond effectively to customers and sensitive situations.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, distribute, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight items.
  • Operate mail processing equipment, including metering and processing of First-Class Mail.
  • Document and shipping of all UPS, USPS and Fed Ex packages.
  • Complete monthly accounting reports and maintain mail service records.
