Opportunity: The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for assisting the Office Services Manager with the processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, completion of special print projects, and maintenance of mailroom and production equipment. This position also supports daily mailroom operations by helping supervise student workers and ensuring established standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and supervisors.
  • A clear acceptance of and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Scripture as the inerrant Word of God.
  • Commitment to modeling Christ-centered leadership for staff and student-athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, process, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist the Office Services Supervisor in overseeing student workers and maintaining mailroom standards and procedures.
  • Support the completion of special printing and copying projects.
  • Assist with bulk mail processing and operation of mailroom equipment.
  • Operate and maintain office services production equipment, including copiers, printers, fax machines, cutters, laminators, and bindery equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report service needs as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
