About The Position

The Mailing & Fulfillment Operator position is a Full time, Temporary position. This role processes and handles correspondence to ensure compliance with postal service requirements and company standards. It involves operating various shipping equipment, verifying address formatting, performing inventory control, and ensuring accuracy in processed mail. The position also supports warehouse and production operations to maintain material availability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in similar functions (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Verifies that processed mail complies with parameters and quality standards established by the postal service.
  • Reads and interprets documents to process PAVE correspondence, insert, fold, and assemble letters and envelopes.
  • Applies postage using TABS (glue) and LABELS (handwritten addresses).
  • Efficiently operates the card inserter machine to ensure timely production.
  • Weighs correspondence to estimate postage requirements.
  • Prepares mail information cards for placement in address trays.
  • Verifies address format and sorts letters according to postal codes.
  • Ensures printed information is correct before placing cards on the production line.
  • Extracts cards manually or mechanically and verifies tray contents.
  • Supports sorter machine technicians in case of malfunctions.
  • Conducts inventories in warehouse and production areas to ensure material availability.
  • Reports any operational errors or problems to the Group Leader.
  • Fully and consistently complies with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local and federal laws applicable to our industry, business, and labor practices.
  • May perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, in accordance with the education and experience requirements contained herein.
