Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Normal courtesy in dealing with others is required.
  • Work involves contact, usually within the organization and with co-workers but may involve contact with vendors or members. Contact usually involves routine, non-sensitive issues.
  • Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
  • Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more including but not limited to paper supplies and full coin bags.
  • Complies with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts and processes incoming mail, completing actionable items such as financial transactions, member service transactions, and sorting of documents or mail throughout the Credit Union. Processes returned correspondence and marks accounts accordingly.
  • Coordinates mail pickup and delivery between Courier partner and Credit Union buildings in all regions.
  • Maintains the postage meter, including supplies like sealant, ink cartridges, and certified mail labels. Submits monthly postage meter funds reports and disbursement requests to the Accounting department.
  • Maintains vendor relationships for all mail and courier services.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
