Requirements

  • High school diploma completed at minimum.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience operating office equipment and troubleshooting minor hardware and software issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, web applications, and scanning equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Open, prepare, sort, and categorize incoming mail for digital imaging and processing.
  • Analyze document content to determine the appropriate business area and work type.
  • Apply tracking methodologies for specific mail streams and processes.
  • Redirect work accurately to appropriate processing queues to minimize delays and financial impacts.
  • Perform indexing and quality verification of front-end and back-end documents.
  • Enter and validate client policy, account, group, and customer information accurately.
  • Process, verify, scan, index, and prepare cheques for deposit according to established procedures.
  • Operate high-speed document scanners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Troubleshoot minor software and hardware issues related to scanning equipment and workflows.
  • Monitor workflow queues and resolve imaging issues impacting business unit processing.
  • Distribute cheques destined for customers and advisors.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency while meeting service level agreements and deadlines.
  • Provide front-line customer service by ensuring service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Assist with projects, effort tracking, and administrative tasks such as maintaining barcode stock, faxing, photocopying, filing, and managing courier logs.
  • Verify information on original documents and redirect imaged material to alternate processing areas when required.
  • Learn and support multiple business unit processing lines within imaging services.

Benefits

  • Hourly salary of $16.75.
  • 6-month contract.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Weekday schedule from 8 am-4 pm.
