About The Position

The Mail Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate distribution, collection, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages within client facilities managed by UG2. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily workplace operations by ensuring reliable internal mail delivery and maintaining organized mailroom processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking deliveries and shipments.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to walk throughout large facilities for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in mailroom, facilities support, logistics, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail and packages to designated departments and individuals.
  • Collect outgoing mail and prepare shipments for postal or courier delivery.
  • Operate mailroom equipment including postage meters, scanners, and package tracking systems.
  • Maintain accurate logs for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Coordinate with courier services such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
  • Provide internal delivery services throughout the building or campus.
  • Assist employees with shipping requests and package tracking.
  • Maintain an organized and secure mailroom environment.
  • Follow company policies regarding confidential and sensitive mail handling.
  • Support additional workplace services tasks as needed.
