Under the direction of the Radiologist, Director, and Manager performs diagnostic medical imaging by magnetic resonance including Cardiac MRI, Interoperative MRI or invasive procedures. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations, ensuring MR safety screening for all individuals entering MR rooms, and responding to workload changes effectively. The technologist will conduct job duties according to departmental standards, communicate technical information appropriately, and produce quality images consistently. They will also serve as a resource to co-workers, assess for vein/site selection and initiate venipuncture, document venipuncture site/contrast in RIS, and demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MR anatomical landmarks, alerting the radiologist to abnormalities as needed. Additionally, the role requires maintaining proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and relating to coworkers in a professional and respectful manner to promote a culture of safety.
