About The Position

This position is for a Magistrate at the Traffic Tribunal within the Department of Judiciary. The role involves performing duties consistent with G.L. §8-8.2-1 and as prescribed by law, as well as any duties assigned by the Chief Magistrate of the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal. The salary range for this position is $192,741.00 - $231,289.00.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing of the Rhode Island Bar.
• Must maintain membership in the Rhode Island Bar as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Judicial or quasi-judicial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for any and all duties that would be consistent with G.L. §8-8.2-1 and as prescribed by law.
• Responsible for any and all duties that may be assigned by the Chief Magistrate of the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal.
